Ingredients

  • 15 ounce can “Very Cherry” Fruit Cocktail, drained
  • 15 ounce can mandarin oranges, drained
  • ½ cup pineapple tidbits, drained
  • ½ cup maraschino cherries, drained and cut in half
  • 1 cup green grapes, cut in half
  • ¾ cup mini marshmallows
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans
  • ½ cup shredded coconut
  • 8 oz Extra Creamy Cool Whip

Instructions

  • Combine the fruit. In a large bowl, mix drained fruit cocktail, mandarin oranges, pineapple tidbits, maraschino cherries, and grapes.
  • Add the extras. Stir in mini marshmallows, coconut, and pecans.
  • Fold in the cream. Gently fold Cool Whip into the fruit mixture until everything is coated.
  • Chill & serve. Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.

Notes

  • Drain the fruit very well; excess juice makes the salad runny.
  • Chill the salad for the flavors to develop.
  • Try toasting the pecans for a deeper flavor and aroma.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2–3 days. Stir gently before serving. This salad is not freezer-friendly.
