12 ounces linguine 1 pound medium shrimp, thawed, deveined and tails removed ¼ teaspoon kosher salt ⅛ teaspoon coarse ground pepper 8 tablespoons salted butter 2 tablespoons olive oil 6 cloves chopped garlic, (add 2 additional cloves if you like an extra garlicky taste) ⅛ teaspoon Italian seasoning ¼ cup shredded parmesan cheese, plus more for garnish 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley plus more for garnish 1 ½ tablespoons lemon juice Optional: Lemon wedges for garnish.
